We Are SEND and Inclusion Specialists
ARK Inclusive Education exists to ensure that children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities receive the education they are entitled to—not in theory, but in practice. We are specialists in inclusive education, trauma-informed practice, and SEND strategy. Every programme we design, every intervention we deliver, and every piece of consultancy we provide is rooted in one core commitment: removing barriers to learning, participation, and belonging.
Our work is grounded in a single principle: inclusion is not an add-on. It must be there from the start. That means designing for the margins so everyone benefits. It means understanding that behaviour is communication, and that co-regulation precedes self-regulation. It means building relational safety, evidencing progress through robust assessment, and ensuring that every child’s voice is heard.
Who We Support?
Local Authorities
We help local authorities fulfil their Section 19 duties and statutory responsibilities under the SEND Code of Practice. Our support includes strategic SEND leadership, rapid-response educational interventions for children in crisis, regulatory compliance, and data-rich monitoring that justifies Pupil Premium Plus spending. We work with Virtual School Heads and placement teams to ensure that children in unregistered or short-term placements do not become “Children Missing Education,” .
Across our full range of programmes—from the RISE 2 Recovery curriculum and Active Inclusion Intervention to bespoke Alternative Provision and targeted SEN interventions—we provide immediate, short term education for the most vulnerable children. Delivered by specialist SEN facilitators, with flexible delivery options to suit each child’s needs. Our monitoring app tracks progress across key competencies and SEND areas, generating automated reports that provide clear evidence of statutory stakeholder compliance and help local authorities demonstrate their accountability and statutory responsibilities
Schools and Multi-Academy Trusts
We work alongside school leaders, SENCOs, and teaching staff and Senior Leaders to build inclusive practice and sustainable capacity. This includes school improvement reviews, inclusion base design, mainstream inclusion strategies, staff training, governance support, and SEND reform readiness. Our work is tailored to each school’s context, ensuring that improvements are embedded and sustainable—whether through whole-school CPD, targeted SENCO support, or strategic guidance for MAT leaders on SEND compliance and inclusion.
For pupils who are consistently dysregulated in class, we offer offsite Alternative Provision interventions—providing a calm, supportive environment where they can regulate, re-engage, and transition back to mainstream learning. Our programmes are delivered by qualified SEN specialists and include clear reintegration pathways, with regular progress updates for schools and families. We work collaboratively to ensure that every pupil returns to school feeling more regulated, confident, and ready to succeed
Young People
We deliver direct, evidence-based interventions for the most vulnerable children and young people—including those in crisis placements, permanently excluded, awaiting school allocation, experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance, or requiring time out of the classroom to regulate and rebuild.
Life can be difficult, and school may not feel like a safe place right now. But with the right support, things can change. Our programmes are designed to help young people understand themselves better, build on their strengths, and develop the skills needed to move forward—whatever that looks like for them.

Direct Interventions & Alternative Provision: The RISE 2 Recovery Curriculum (trauma-informed education for children in crisis), Active Inclusion – Move, Regulate & Connect (therapeutic physical activity integrating SEN, PSHE, numeracy and literacy), and offsite Alternative Provision for pupils who are consistently dysregulated in class—delivered by specialist SEN facilitators in calm, supportive environments designed for regulation and re-engagement.
